About Undignified Leadership

The story behind the workshops and the person who runs them.

Cory Draper

Hi, I'm Cory Draper.

I'm obsessed with personality assessments, and have even been certified to coach and teach a few of them, including the four temperaments and Working Genius.

I've worked in ministry for over 15 years, and during that time, I've experienced world class leadership training and gained immense experience in team building and group culture.

I also have been performing improv comedy for over 20 years!

This may seem like a versatile background, but I recently noticed a common thread among my passions: I am uniquely wired to understand, coach, and promote harmony and teamwork.

In all my years being on teams of all sorts, the ones who were the most effective, efficient, and harmonious were the ones who all shared the exact same characteristic: people felt the freedom to be themselves.

They shed all pretense. They were comfortable enough to let their guard down.

They were willing to become a little undignified.

This kind of trust is hard to get. But when you do, that's when turnover slows. That's when efficiency soars. That's when results pour in.

That's where Undignified Leadership comes in.

The Undignified Process

In these four workshops, we take your team on a journey from getting real with each other all the way to cutting loose together.

01

Be Real — Personal Connection

We start from the basics. We get to know each other. We ask questions that get surprising and delightful answers. We laugh a little. We lean in and empathize with each other.

02

Be Known — Temperaments Training

We move to understanding ourselves through the four temperaments. How we're wired. How we communicate. What our innate needs are, and how we act when those aren't met.

03

Be Aware — Working Genius

We use Working Genius to understand where our sweet spot is when it comes to the work we do — what gives us energy. We also learn what frustrates us, and how we can properly delegate to ensure everyone is working out of their "genius" as much as possible.

04

Be Free — Improv Workshop

We have some fun. We let loose and play games. We bond over inside jokes, acting a little silly, in a way that is pressure and judgement-free.
